vCalc is equipped with a fully-customizable component database that allows for flex pipes, pipe schedules, EQL-based components, curve-based components and pumps with multiple design areas, standpipe calculations, demand/supply calculations and more. Save time with bulk editing capabilities allowing for quick revisions of sizing, lengths, pipe schedules and elevations. vCalc supports both shift-based auto-peaking (typical spacing distances) as well as shifting between real sprinklers which is useful when dealing with fully drawn pipe networks in Revit®. Real-time calculations offer updated results as your inputs change, giving you accurate information every step of the way.
Available as a desktop application
vCalc is available as a standalone desktop application and does not require the use of Revit®. Leverage the Pipe/System Generator to quickly generate a typical tree, grid or loop system with full control over sizing, spacing and more. Utilize the 3D Viewer to interactively design, review and modify your system.
Easy Revit® integration
Use vCalc within Revit® to calculate by setting your supply, choosing your design area(s), extracting your pipe network and then your calculations are complete. You can even use Viking's Analysis tab to quickly calculate an existing Revit® pipe system. vCalc with Revit® is fully compatible with the desktop version of the program too.
vCalc is available at no cost to select Viking clients. vCalc can be used as a standalone desktop application or directly integrated into the Revit® environment. Once a user is authorized, the program is available through the normal vDesign installer.
